Our Vision
At Portland Rugby Football Club, we are redefining the game in the United States by serving as a model for club-led, community-based rugby. Our committed and integrated men’s and women’s+ teams form the foundation of a statewide rugby ecosystem that welcomes players of all backgrounds and skill levels, from first-time athletes to seasoned competitors. We proudly support rugby at every stage of development, including:
- Introductory youth and high school programs, including the Portland U18 boys team
- College undergraduate teams
- Regional club, national, and professional teams
Beyond competition, our club fosters a culture of growth, camaraderie, and excellence. Our new field and complex will be a hub for the rugby community, hosting practices, matches, championships, clinics, camps, and social gatherings. By providing a dedicated space for players and fans alike, we are shaping the future of the sport and strengthening rugby’s presence across the region.
